Science

Over the next few weeks in science, we will be studying organisms. Organisms are simply, living things. As part of this unit we will be learning about both plants and animals. We will even be doing an animal research project later in the unit as part of our reading and writing.


Today we have been watching an eagle family live on Ustream. We have been able to see the mom actually feeding the eaglets- there are 2 hatched already with one more expected to hatch in the next day or two.

The nest is estimated at 5-6 feet across and 5-6 feet deep and weighs approximate 1 1/2 tons!!!! That's quite a nest!!
