Math time

A small group working with me on time to the hour

We are working hard this week on our new math routine.We are trying something new this year called, Guided Math. In this format, we have a whole group time and then a rotation time where each child rotates through 3 stations. At the first station,students work with me in groups of 5 or 6. This allows me to modify and assist all student's need more effectively. At the 2nd station, students work with Mrs. Luedke on a review skill or area that we need additional assistance with . At the 3rd station students are working independently on a math skill. This area changes every couple of days and will include things such as math games or iPad apps on the skills that we are working on or pages from our math journal, basic fact practice.
