I'm FINALLY getting caught up with my blogging.
Valentine's Day was a fun time despite being a 1/2 day. We started out our morning by trying to solve the Mystery of the Valentine Villain. Students worked in groups of 3-4 along with an adult helper. Miss Disterhaft, Mrs. Gee, Mrs. Luedke and our helper Miss Seiltz all helped out with a group. In the mystery students had to solve various math problems to get clues which led them to the villains. It was a fun way to do math while reviewing and reinforcing several key math concepts.
We of course also enjoyed passing out and opening our valentines from each other and enjoying a special heart shaped treat. Check out the video below to see pictures from our day.
