Balls and Ramps

On Thursday we made homemade bouncy balls in science class out of a polymer powder. Each kiddo got to choose their color and then poured their powder into the ball mold. After the powder was in, we placed them in a cup of water for one minute and then took them out to dry.

Once they were dry we took them out into the hallway to test them out. We had some really bouncy ones. 

This week we will be using these homemade balls along with the ones students made at home to do some experimenting with friction. When our experiments are done kiddos will get to bring their balls home.
