We've finished up with our balls and ramps unit and had our final and official ball rolling competition. We've done a variety of these over the past weeks but today was winner take all. We've learned much about energy, work, pushes and pulls, gravity, friction and momentum.
Our science focus will be switching over to organisms for the next month. We'll be welcoming some very special critters into our classroom as we learn about and study various organisms. We'll be building 2 different habitats- an woodland terrarium and an aquarium as well. This is a usually a first grade favorite unit and I'm sure you'll begin to hear your child talk about many of our adventures!
