Differences

 Over the last couple of days in math we have been working on learning how to find the difference when comparing two numbers. We learned how to use a strategy in which you draw a quick pic for the numbers . You then pair up the matches and circle the extras. For example:

We would connect each of the 1st three Xs and then circle the remaining Xs (the difference). If you look closely at the top example on the SMARTboard picture you can see a better example.


We also played a game called "The Difference Game" to help reinforce the skill.
