Election Day

Casting his secret ballot

Today was Election Day and after discussing how the process works in 1st grade friendly terms, we took our turn at voting. Students each filled out an "official ballot" and then cast their vote in our voting booth. The results for the entire grade level were: Obama 49, Romney 31.
We also wrote about what we would do if we were president.We had quite a variety of ideas. You can see a couple of them below.
