One of the 3 areas that we use during our Math workshop time is, "Math by Myself". Look at this group working hard on various math apps to help them learn their addition facts. You could have heard a pin drop in this corner of the room minus the beeps and blips coming from the iPads. These devices have been a wonderful addition to our class and to the increased engagement and time on task for repetitive activities such as math facts! Notice how kiddos are still using number grids and other traditional tools to still help with their learning?!
