Double Dog Dare Lego Challenge!

In Science we are continuing to work on our balls and ramps (forces and motions unit) We have talked a lot about balls and their characteristics (usually round, bounce, 3D, sphere-shaped)and then we watched the video below from Mythbusters. We made predictions of our own prior to watching the final roll and many thought the ball would make it to the car, hit the car and dent it and continue to roll on. I won't tell you what actually happens- No Spoilers....

So now that you've watched, many of us wondered what would happen if the ball was much smaller and so.....

the Double Dog Dare Lego Challenge was born...

If your child is a Lego fanatic and would like to create a small version of a Lego ball for us to test out they may. There is no deadline to create the ball, bring it in whenever you finish it. I know we have a few Lego aficionados in the group and thought this would get them creating and problem solving. This is not a required activity. Have fun!
