Today we worked on creating our Dr. Seuss themed door. We first read and discussed the story, I Can Read With My Eyes Shut. Next, we learned how to use the digital cameras and students worked in groups of three to take digital pictures of each other- the hitch was, that they got their picture taken with their eyes shut. The collaboration and problem solving that was exhibited by each group was fantastic and their pictures turned out silly and wonderful. Once the pictures were printed, everyone colored a hat and glued it to their picture and then created a Dr. Seuss book to attach to their project so it looks as if they are reading.
