Rolling for 50

Over the past week in math we have been working on and reviewing how to count up and back on a number grid. Today we played a game called, Rolling for 50, that helps familiarize ourselves with the 100's chart and how to move around the board. It is very much like the game, Snakes and Ladders that I posted about last week. See post below for the link. One of the groups even got to play the game on the SMARTboard which they thought was pretty cool because it was super big!
Overall most of us are doing well with moving around on the number grid, but sometimes we forget that we have to hop first when counting on or back.
