Preparing the soil

There's nothing better than digging in the dirt if you're a kid and that's exactly what we did on Monday as we put together our terrariums. We are learning about organisms in science right now which will include plants and animals. Today we observed moss and pine seedlings prior to creating our terrariums. We then planted both of these in our terrariums. In the coming weeks we will also be introducing animals to this habitat. Teacher secret on what is to come, but it will be the talk of the town when it happens. Keep your ears peeled.
