Author-in-residence

What a fantastic week of fun and learning we have had with author, Katie McKy! Our wonderful PTO arranged for her visit and it has been such a wonderful experience. She worked with our class for an hour today on telling and writing a story. She has a very unique and engaging style of working with kiddos as we listened, laughed, participated, danced, ate, and WROTE! She engaged the kids every step of the way and their excitement for writing at the end was phenomenal! We even got to sit in tents to write... as long as we were tough enough. Be sure to ask your child about our wonderful experience and what they think of Katie McKy. I"m sure you'll get an earful.
